Our web based technology allows us to collect rent from tenants electronically and distribute rent electronically to owners at no additional charge to either party. We assess late fees and send notices when a tenant fails to pay rent on time. All late fees are passed on to our owners.

Location of Georgetown
Georgetown is approximately 30 miles north of Austin, just north of Round Rock. It occupies a total of 25 square miles, with 2.1 square miles covered by water. It’s on the northeastern edge of Texas Hill Country, and portions of Georgetown spill over into the Balcones Escarpment. It has convenient access to Interstate 35, as well as the North and Middle Forks of the San Gabriel River.
Population and Demographics
According to the 2010 census, the population of Georgetown was just 28,339 people, but that number has since grown to more than 50,000. The racial makeup of the city is approximately 85.4 percent white, 3.4 percent African American, and less than 1 percent Asian, with 18 percent of the population being Hispanic or Latino.
There were approximately 10,400 households in 2010, with 31.8 percent of those featuring children under the age of 18. Roughly 61.6 percent of households were married couples living together, and the average household size was 2.52, with an average family size of 2.92.
Approximately 23.4 percent of the population was under the age of 18, 11.4 percent from 18 to 24, 26.3 percent from 25 to 44, 21.3 percent from 45 to 64, and 17.7 percent who were 65 or older. The population skews slightly older due to Sun City, Texas, the large age-restricted retirement community where much of Georgetown’s population resides.
The median household income in the city was $54,098, with a family income of $63,338. The per capita income for the city was $24,287, with 4.4 percent of families and 7.2 percent of the population overall living below the poverty line.
Area History
Georgetown was originally named after George Washington Glasscock, who founded the city. The area grew popular due to its clear water and abundance of timber, along with its accessible, fertile ground. For most of the 19th and 20th centuries, the economy of Georgetown was agrarian, seeing a boost with the construction of a nearby railroad in 1878.
Thanks to the expansive industrial and commercial growth of the nearby major city of Austin, Georgetown saw a boom in activity throughout the 1960s and beyond. Since 2000, Georgetown has been featured in a number of publications as being one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States—and it’s also been named one of the best places to own a business.
As of 2017, the city is powered by 100 percent green energy.
Education
Residents in Georgetown are often served by the Georgetown Independent School District, which features 11,537 students. However, with only 17 schools, you may also be served by the nearby Leander Independent School District, with more than 39,000 active students and 41 schools.
On GreatSchools.org, elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools each have at least one school with a 9/10 rating.
